Memory Care: Learn A New Word Each Week

I have been a lazy blogger this past week.  I only managed one post in that time period.  It was nice break, though, and I was kind of busy.  My daughter started horseback riding lessons, the AC was broken and had to be gutted and fixed, my son started his first job, and there were a ton of birthdays to attend.

But, now back to blogging.  I hope everyone is doing well.  This week is word #11, but it seems we have done so many more than that, lol.  The word this week is Chromosome.  I hope you have been following along, and studying all the previous words.  So, in your journal, or online tool, write the word, look up the definition, write it 10 times.  Then say it out loud 10 times.  Use the word in a sentence, try to think of a synonym, write a short paragraph using the word as many times as you can, or draw a picture of the word.  All of these things will aid you in remembering the word, and the definition.  Now go back over the previous 10 words, and say them 10 times each.  Do the other exercises, as well, if you are having a hard time remembering the words, and definitions.

Thursday, for the next issue of hurricane prep with kidney disease, I will discuss drinks.  I hope everyone has an amazing Tuesday!

If you would like to learn more ways to improve, or retain your memory message me using the contact form below.  I have room for 3 clients this month.
