Happy Sunday! Today is our last warm day here, as it is going to get pretty chilly over this next week. I hope that doesn’t mean it will b super hot for Thanksgiving. While that would make it easier to have an outdoor Thanksgiving, it makes baking a turkey all day awful. Plus, we would need the AC on as opposed to having the windows open.
Today is day 3 of my 14 Days of Gratitude Challenge. Are you joining in? Leave me a comment to let me know and where your posts are written so I can check them out, if you have a blog. Today’s prompt is, what is your favorite sound?
I have very sensitive hearing so sometimes it is easier for me to tell the sounds that annoy me as there are many. Like dripping water drives me nuts. Snapping fingers, loud chewing are a few others that I can not stand. But, sensitive hearing is also a blessing as I notice things others may not. I hear the birds every morning, even when the windows are closed. I have a family of Cardinals that live in our trees, and visit the feeder twice a day. They wake me up every morning. I love to hear the birds, and it is even more fun to learn which birds make which noises. I love nature noises in general such as waves, light rain, animal sounds in general, etc. You may have been able to guess this if you have been following along, lol. I am grateful for my sensitive hearing, most of the time, lol.
What is your favorite sound and why are you grateful for it?
